CHARITY PARTNERS OF Journal of Global Surgery (ONE)

We are proud to announce partnerships with the following global surgical charities. We encourage our readers and supporters to learn about our their projects, and if possible, kindly donate to their amazing work. Our peer reviewers can also choose to donate their Bitcoin Cash stipends directly to our partners, rather than receive the stipend themselves. This allows our unique publishing model to recycle Bitcoin Cash from our readers, through global surgery research, directly back to frontline global surgical work.

Naturally, all charities have various ways to accept payments. However, all our partners accept Bitcoin Cash donations (and publicly display their BCH wallet address on their website) and therefore integrate into our journal’s Bitcoin Cash ecosystem seamlessly. Thank you so much for your love, support and attention to the wonderful work they do.

Watsi is the first global crowdfunding platform for healthcare, enabling anyone to directly fund low-cost, high-impact medical care for people in need. 100% of every donation directly funds patient care, and the organization is dedicated to complete transparency and seeks to maximize their impact by collecting real-time data on healthcare providers, costs and outcomes. Watsi partners with medical facilities in developing countries to create profiles for patients in need of treatment, then posts these profiles on a crowdfunding platform where individuals donate to fund care. Watsi is on a mission to make healthcare a reality for everyone.
